Gilbert Public Schools (GPS), in partnership with the Gilbert Education Foundation (GEF), invites everyone to a morning of health and fun at Campo Verde High School on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The activities kick off with the Run for Fun at 7:30 am followed by the Healthy Connections Expo 9 am - 12 pm, offering a variety of fun activities and resources for families in Gilbert and Mesa.
Audiences at the annual Gilbert Public Schools Oratorical Contest on Thursday, January 30th were in the presence of some of America’s most well-known historical figures…kind of.
This year’s Spelling Bee was electrifying! Elementary and junior high students from schools across the district wowed the audience at Campo Verde High last Thursday, January 23rd for the Annual District Spelling Bee.

Many GPS elementary schools hosted Turkey Trots this year, including Sonoma Ranch Elementary School which hosted its third annual event to bring students and parents together for a day of fun and fitness. These events encouraged physical activity and provided a glimpse into the district's growing running programs.
